The Candida Spit Test

Candida Spit TestCandida Albicans is a naturally occurring yeast in the human body which normally functions in harmony with other micro-organisms. When the balance of bacteria is disturbed, however, candida can take over all the healthy micro-organisms in your body.

Candida normally resides in the mouth, throat, genitals and intestinal tract. Candida can also perforate the intestinal tract and enter the blood stream and from there can enter any part of the body. Candida symptoms are vast and irritating, from headaches to diarrhea. The Candida Spit Test is a simple procedure you can do at home to determine whether or not you have Candida.

The Candida Spit Test

Follow these simple steps of the Candida Spit Test to find out if you’re suffering from Candida:

  • The first step of the Candida spit test is to wake up in the morning and before you eat anything      (or even brush your teeth) fill a clear glass with distilled water.
  • Use your tongue to collect saliva in your mouth.
  • Spit into the glass.
  • The Candida Spit Test is underway. Observe the water in the glass for the next 15 minutes. See if anything happens.
  • The Candida Spit Test indicates presence of yeast colonies if one of the following happens: your saliva floats at the surface and you can see thin strands (like spider legs) extending beneath it; the saliva has floated to the bottom of the glass but looks cloudy; or your saliva is floating midway in the glass and looks like suspended specs.

What To Do Next

Talk to your doctor immediately if you fear you have Candida. Candida is quickly  becoming an epidemic and most people don’t even know they’re suffering from the disease. With a test as simple as the Candida Spit Test - something that one can self administer at home - there is no reason for you to walk through life without identifying your condition.
